Mosquitoes in early morning motivate me to do dishes.

Once upon a time, there were some lonesome-looking cookies. They were calling for some good HCl but alas, there wasn’t anyone aroun, not even a guard. Along came a girl and their dreams came true.

I bet that girl was Japanese.

I once read a short story about a poor peasant family in 18th century Japan. I really liked the story because every night, the family ate Udon. When something good happened, they even added tempura on top.

    Yum.

I’ve never had a real helium experience. Every time I try, my voice gets slightly higher but it’s only because I feel I’m supposed to have a high-pitch voice and my mind modifies my voice automatically, rather than the gas doing its job.

Frailty, thy name is Ubuntu! The installation was not as easy as last time!

    Or perhaps:

    Frailty, thy name is..uh…me.

Is 3 seconds of happiness for krills the same for elephants? How about 1 minute? How about 1 month? What does the graph of whatever the feelings they have on absolute scales to time look like for living things with different longevities?

    Research proposal:

“The comparison of saliva production among indoor and outdoor sport coaches.”

Baseball coaches sure seem to have a higher saliva production than the norm.

I really didn’t like watching boxing until I heard what actually goes on:

Boxer love hugging each other. The bad guys are those mean referees, trying to separate them every time they get a chance to hug.

I would still like it better if they find a nicer way to get to hugging.

I feel a bit uncomfortable when someone says ‘this place is never the same without you.”

It makes me wonder if the statement was born and raised in a mouth.

It is difficult for me to imagine <3 as anything other than stuck out lips for kissing. That interpretation works in many situations as well but definitely not all.

    Definitely not.

Monday through Saturday, I carefully examine all the mail I get and pick the most important-looking one to open.

Leave the rest for the partner. That’s the etiquette.

Life is a journey. A journey to collect pet-peeves.

    Not really. Really, not really.

Wikipedia told me that mosquitoes don’t really need blood but just drink it as a *supplement*.

    I am very, very insulted.

    Ties eat up my intuition.

When I see colorful ties, my creative mind field becomes a desert. No trees, no oasis, no lizards. Only sand and wind.

    I need plant some seeds.

October = No plastic straw month.

Just to show some respect to the incoming real straw.

    If I were a candy-maker, I’d design diatom-shaped candies.

    So cute.

Start writing an e-mail. Pound on the downward arrow key. The sentence I just typed doesn’t disappear. Pound on the arrow key as hard as I can.

    Why why wh…wait.

I like to put on my to-do list things I’ve done already and cross them out. It doesn’t seem to work as well when I do it the other way around.
