I saw a huge old map of Malaysia at an antique store. It made me wodner if the person who made the map had some grudge against that country: The title of the map said “MAL-aysia”, giving an impression of Malaysia being a bad part of Asia.

Some weeks ago I posted in my blog something about Guatemala. There is a phrase in spanish “de guatemala a guatepeor” that means when you are in a bad situation (mal) you can go to a worst situation (peor). Some people from Guatemala wrote me very angry about this spanish phrase….

Oops..I don’t know much about Spanish but the phrase seems clever. I like neat word-manipulation..
