Woke up at 4AM and thought about sloths. Could I train sloths to run?

It is unlikely that you can train sloths to run. Wikipedia says sloths do not run unless they are threatened.

If I threaten sloths every day, perhaps, they will run away at the sight of me!
Ok, that’s an awful idea…I like sloths too much to do that.
