I have always liked sea urchins a lot. Their arms dance like Hula, the eggs taste really good, baby urchins are super cute…sea urchin is a cool creature. But today, I found out something else about sea urchins that made me like them even more.

Female sea urchins put on make-ups and wear tiny bikinis.

Well. Not exactly. But they do put shells and other things on and decorate themselves. Just imagine these spiky balls using their mini hands to look more attractive and seduce male urchins…makes me smile. I love them so much.

Unfortunately (for them) though, these decorations make it easy for people like me to find which ones are edible. Yummmm…

I got new pets. I’m growing sea urchins from a zygote stage. I’m gonna name the one I’ll keep ‘Puccini’. I heard that they’ll be swimming around for 30 days, starting tomorrow. I can hardly wait…
