osake

I had a wine at a bar last night. It had a really strong and dry taste and was quite different from my usual fuzzy navel drinks. I looked for sugar cubes but alas..couldn’t find them. I think they just ran out.

I heard that there is a new kind of sake that doesn’t have any alcohol in it.. I’m not sure how it works but the news reporter said that it still tasted like sake. So, I guess this doesn’t really appeal to me… I suppose it’s good for the Japanese toddlers who have to drink sake on New Year’s day.

I’ve never understood the concept of non-alcoholic wine, beer, sake, etc.

IMO, These drinks generally taste like ass… The reason that they are popular is because they have alcohol in them. Without alcohol, what’s the point?

I had to drink non-alcoholic for a play once. Never again.

Also, Mika, when are you getting into Seattle? Nate and I were going to buy a durian (KING of fruits) but decided you would probably want to be there to enjoy it with us.

Maalox maalox.. you think that I love eating anything that smell bad, huh?

Well, actually, I think durian tastes pretty good.. but anyways, I’ll be there this Tuesday. You, Yumcax and I are making a wonton soup on Wed in case you didn’t know.

Maalox, non-acoholic beer/wine would taste like ass if it had alchohol. They are made by the big (read shitty) beer companies.

Non-acoholic Bud under a different name is still Bud except that it doesn’t get you fucked up enough to stop noticing the shittiness (the only potentially redeeming quality of such beers).

Good beers, good wine, and good scotch is, believe it or not, good.
