The person is supposed to be Michaelangelo himself.<\/p>\n<p>A couple days after I saw the painting, I heard that there was a saint who actually got his skin torn off until he died.  I think that&#8217;s one of the worst torture I&#8217;ve ever heard and can&#8217;t believe that anybody could actually execute such a torture.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe that&#8217;s why I don&#8217;t like sticking my hands into a bag full of potatoes with lots of sprouts.
