As I cut them with needles   under a microscope, I could see guts and gonards splashing out of the bodies.. and it made me feel really guilty.  It reminded me of the time when I disected a live fish, without anesthesia, in an elementary school.   I still remember the beating heart that was left alone inside of the fish body..
