I wonder if aligators sometimes think about eating these little birds that clean up their teeth when they are very VERY hungry..

    Hi 美河!

    Hmm.. I think you have missed something important. The birds are only there when there is something tasty in the aligators teeth to pick out. This means the birds only present themselves as a potential snack when an aligator has recently eaten and is not hungry. At that point, the aligator isn’t interested in such an insignificant morsel.

    Good point. I thought about that as well but then, there is always left over from last time..just as we don’t clean our teeth perfectly either.
