This has been on our mind for a looong time. When I first heard about it from our housemate a few years ago, I thought it was a crazy idea - ~150 miles 10,000ft climbing in one day. Well, Mako and I did it and it was a beautiful ride! It is both physically and mentally challenging but I can see why some people do it more than once.View Project
Our team again biked a lot this month! We were #5. We also hosted a mini celebration station on Bike Everywhere Day; there weren't that many people coming up our hill and many of those few people did not want to stop (unbelievable!) in the middle of the hill. But I met several very nice bikers! Will do it agian.View Project
Team ELS returned in this wet month. There were definitely fewer people and teams joining this initiative. Our team did quite well! Unfortunately Luum site no longer shows our final results.
The beautiful season has begun in Seattle! My goal for the summer is to bike at least 10 miles a day if the AM forecast says the chance of rain is 0%. I will be taking on the Bike Everywhere Challenge and signed up for Team Extraordinary Least Squares. (photo by Lucy Lu Wang)View Project
